AP Computer Science Principles

Welcome to Computer Science Principles! This is an introductory computing course which will explore what computers are, what we can use them for, programming, algorithms, the internet and other intersting tidbits not seen in typical computing courses. You will use both your artistic and logical perspectives in this course to design and build using computing principles.

No previous programming experience is required. Some basic Algebra is required but it won't be too advanced.

Web Development

The Web Development course will cover 3 languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript) in addition to covering basic design techniques. You will combine artistic design with logical coding & problem solving to create dynamic websites.

No previous experience required, however you will need basic Algebra & Geometry for design purposes.

Computer Literacy

This computer literacy course will teach you all the basics of using a computer from how the function to using MS Office, Adobe Suites, and how to be an ethical digital citizen.

Some basic Algebra is required but it won't be too advanced.
